So, the band, you know, that unbelievable band full of musical monsters and true gents, you know, the one with more talent in their little pinkies than most UK chart bands have in their whole body, you know, the ones called BROTHERS GRIMMER, yeah, that's the one, well, they are playing at the Inferno Bournemouth on the 19th November. They are a well known band in the Bournemouth area, but are aiming to make this the year that they branch out further afield too. The third album is in the gestation period and they are looking at possible festival dates already booked such as ‘The Greenwich Festival. Having been interviewed on Fire Radio and Bay Radio, they are looking to up the ante this year. Brothers Grimmer are often compared with a variety of bands depending on the track. Try and imagine that all members of Led Zepplin, Tool, Jethro Tull, Sound Garden, Pearl Jam, Radiohead and Prodigy had donated cells to a scientist lab for studies. Suppose a Stan Lee (Marvel Comics) style accident happened and they all conjoined to create a mutant band. The resulting abomination would almost certainly be Brothers Grimmer..... The general opinion of fans and reviews so far confirms. THIS IS SOMETHING RARE AND ONE OF A KIND, Bournemouth Unsigned Hi, We would like to give you all the latest news from the band. Brothers Grimmer have introduced a number of covers to their set list by such artists as The Foo Fighters, Jethro Tull, Rage against the machine and Pearl Jam. Brothers Grimmer were voted semi-finalist winners Of Talent Call at the 02 Academy Boscombe, Bournemouth on 9th July 2011, They took their place at the final on 29th Oct 2011 at the Pavilion Bournemouth, they took their place in the 8 band line up event Bandalism, again at the 02 Academy on the 8th October (other bands that appeared Sirpico, Voice of Reason, Fearne, Empire Affair, One Dead Ninja, The Frequency and New Royalty) Brothers Grimmer have a rapidly growing fan base with many more gigs and interests in the pipeline. (Bandalism was a great success drawing nearly 1000 people. Bandalism will be a regular event in 2012) The 2nd album The Big Blue Book of Hairytales is due and ready for release in a few weeks.
